John, you say a lot of funny things, but surely this one is one of the richest!
The obvious reality is that the working class is being used by the wealthy
(who tend to the right) to keep them in their position of economic elite.
Since the wealthy make the laws, the laws are designed to help the wealthy.  It
is a self-perpetuating system, of which the only saving grace is that it's
fairly easy in the US to climb into the wealthy bracket.

There is nothing sorrier than a career politician.

Sure there is...a dynasty of career politicians.

What term would *you* use for a homicidal, innocent-butchering group who
believes that they are acting on behalf of God?

Crusaders, inquisitors, the mobs that chased Mormons around the midwest,
death-sentence advocates...I dunno, what?
