What??? You mean, that since we DON'T WANT your Bill of Rights, or your
Declaration of Independance (we did it nicely enough ourselves, thank you
without any guns from you prodding us :) (1812 :) - Canada is a nation, which
has chose to separate itself from the UK in most respects, save that the
nominal head of state here is the same as there...and, yes, we do have a bill
of rights, it is called "The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms (1982)"
As far as the acts responsible for Canada being a separate nation, there are at
least 2 sets, the BNA act of 1867 and the CDN constitution of 1982. I'm not
sure how you mean that we don't have acts which frame our government.
Liberty, Justice and GOOD GOVERNMENT :)
That's what I fight for- or at least, my friends on HMCS Vancouver, and so
forth do :) If I didn't think that the rights were worth fighting for, I'd not
be in my current job :)
