I thought I was pretty good in answering Ian's post without saying anything
about god one way or the other... (except of course if you realise that I
don't capitalise his name...)
About 5 more posts of the god debate and what little willpower I have left
holding me back from getting involved will be gone. Not saying I'm perfect
so there it is...
I have to ask though... (and I relish the rehashing of the same old argument
because it lets me make the same old points and cover the same old ground
instead of thinking about hard questions. Really, I do... ). Do we actually
need to have that particular debate at this point? Suppose we do? How will
it help?
Matt G poured out some heartfelt emotion and I think we need to recognise
and cherish that feeling whether we agree with the existance of god or not
and otherwise let it go...
Let's chew the fat on that debate in some happier time when we have less
momentous questions to consider.
