Every other person is STILL talking about Shiri?  Does every person in this

P.S.  I agree with Judy.

I think the obsession has to do with Shiri being female. To illustrate this,
I've put together an example.

Below are some posts from Lugnet.technic (in which most of the posts are
from males).

POST 1: Beat Felber's announcement of his new website:

POST 2: My announcement of my new website:

POST 3: Jennifer Clark's announcement of her new MOC:

Now Jennifer's models are fantastic and I enjoy looking at them as much as
the next person. But it's obvious that she generates much more of a response
than anyone else. And in Lugnet.technic, "anyone else" is mostly male.

I remember posts long ago from people asking if Jennifer was married or if
she'd ever post pictures of herself on her website.

I don't mean to say anything bad here. I'm just making a simple observation.

T. J.

This is an interesting point and I think I can shed a little more light on
it. Jennifer's truck broke new ground on two (or more) front's. I think as
well as her being female there we're more factor's that contributed to the
large number of response's.

Because of the 'cheshirefest picture's', a certain amount of anticipation
was generated, this was exaserbated by the vehicle being remote control,
somthing unheard of before. I think you'll find that John Barnes also
received a lot of responses/enquire'ies about his products too.

I also think that once a critical limit had been reached the thread had
gained so much momentum that everyone wanted to join in. There's also the
fact that the site was/is very professionally done and in paticular the
picture's are very clear, illiciting further (and well deserved) praise.
Finally theirs the fact that the vehicle operated in such a clever manner
and in such a compact way which again impressed the readers.

Steve

Whose attempt at building anticipation of a web site produced absolutely no
replies at all.
