After all of the discussion about currencies, I have scanned
a few bank notes so people can compare. Here is the site:
http://freespace.virgin.net/richard.dee/money.html
Here is the text from the page, should anyone wish to send
me scans of their banknotes.
After discussing currency on Lugnet, I had decided to scan some banknotes for
people to compare their notes with those of other, fellow Lugnetters. These
scans were done at 300dpi, then reduced in size to 75dpi. Images are reduced to
smallest possible jpeg size. All are at the same, proportional size.
If you wish to scan your 2 smallest-denomination banknotes, sized at 75dpi, send
the smallest-sized possible jpeg to me at: richard.dee@virgin.net As Lugnet
readership is predominantly US-based, please tell me the equivalent US Dollar
value for each note.

| (...) It's my understanding, also, that some percentage of the scan or copy needs to be obscured or obliterated. But that probably wouldn't get in the way of getting two scans, with different parts missing, and pasting them together digitally... (...) (25 years ago, 2-Jun-99, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)
