Seems so, according to that one report and I don't doubt for a minute that
Saddam wouldn't take the money from the so-called "oil-for-food" program to
build palaces and let Iraqis suffer. Even if this report were 100% true, it
doesn't change the fact that the sanctions in place do nothing to harm to
Saddam. It seems having the sanctions just gives that bastard the excuse he
needs to blame America. Take away the sanctions, take away his excuse. Or if
this report is not fully accurate, still it seems to favor dropping the
sanctions since they have no effect on the intended target, Saddam. Either
way, the sanctions need to stop. Here's some other info:
