From time to time I see these pop up on eBay, sometimes in the form of generic building sets, sometimes as themed Disney sets. Does anyone one these Blox? Do they work with LEGO? Dave! (23 years ago, 8-Oct-01, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Yes, I bought many of these sets back between 1978 and say the mid-1980s, but no longer build with them. They are stored out in the garage as sorted elements. Perhaps a 100 pounds of them. They 'fit' on top on Lego excatly, but do not 'snap' (...) (22 years ago, 26-Nov-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

(...) Strangely enough while brix blox don't lock with lego, they do lock with classic style best lock, which in turn locks fine with lego. Thus if you want to build a wall using perspective, you can do the lower courses in brix blox, run a layer of (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jan-08, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

(...) Turns out its all in the way the channels on the bottoms of the bricks were made. Best Lock channels come down to the base of the brick, Brix Blox channels are the same width, but stop one lego stud length short of the base of the brick. That (...)
