  Megablocks race set

Does anyone have the Megablocks Race track set? Where two cars race around a slotted track. Rose (24 years ago, 21-Jan-01, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

(...) Really stunning! At first I was amazed at the scale of the ship, and then I remembered that MB sets are so full of bricks that they feel like cinder blocks. That beauty almost makes me want to rush out and buy the Kitty Hawk (I say almost...I (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jan-01, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Ignore that last post. The thread looks screwy so I didn't see all of the replies. I'm coming off a sugar high so I'm too cynical. Felix (24 years ago, 12-Jan-01, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Very cool model! I had my misgivings when I saw it had MB, but you certainly did well with it. I'll tell you... I just don't get people. You post a cool MOC like this one and no one responds. But if you mispell a word or say something negative about (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jan-01, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  MegaBloks Whitehouse yes or no?

I was perusing the MB website, and I can't find the Whitehouse model the we'd been anticipating. I checked the ProBuilder pages, and it's not there. Was it ever listed? I've only ever seen it in print catalogs, and I know MB isn't exactly fastidious (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jan-01, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: What's the connection?

(...) Coko, until about 6 years ago was sold in the US at some TRU, Rite-Aid, and Aldi stores (at least those are the ones I know of). Little generic Coko sets (with no name) were sold at Walgreens. It has been at least 5 years since I have seen any (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jan-01, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

(...) some odd designs, like 1x1 plates with a stud2 on top, as well as 4-high castle wall segments. Does anyone know if Coko can ship to the US or has a US distributor? I suppose it would be prohibitively expensive to order directly from them, but (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: What's the connection?

(...) Blok-Tek was made by Coko. I believe that Coko is a clone of both Tyco and Lego. Some of their stuff is almost exactly like Tyco, while some of their bricks are only available from Lego. Baseplates and castle wheels are Tyco, but no half (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  What's the connection?

In recent months I've acquired a number of old clone sets, and I've noticed some clear similarities that make me wonder about the connections between the various manufacturers. Certain non-standard-brick pieces from Coko and Blok-Tek are identical (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Re: Lego cutting plates in Catalogue Dioramas (Was and part of it still is Re: More on the decline of LEGO quality... [long])

(...) Top marks Nicholas! No I didn't know this, but suddenly one of my heretical pursuits is considerably less heretical. Admittedly I don't tend to cut up roadplates (haven't got enough of those), I cut up grey baseplates to make ship decks, but (...)
