(...) $51, which certainly isn't a bargain price, but it isn't outrageous either. It is missing a couple parts (I plan on contacting Best Lock to see if I can get them replaced). Alas, the only sets I was able to find on clearance at my local Target were Best-Lock. I'm generally favorably disposed to clones, and at $7.41 for 1000- piece sets I figured what could be the harm? I'm still not thrilled with Best- Lock, but they (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

On Sunday I picked up a small MegaBloks Model Team-esque Tank for $9.99. It's roughly minifig scale and with a little modification could have a cool interior cabin.
