So, I'm relatively new in the clone wars, and my excuses if this question has
been answered here before:

Is there a database for MegaBlok sets anywhere (like the LUGNET database)? The
only link stated here is the one to MB's official site, and thats only current
sets.

The reason for me asking is that I time and again see sets for sale at eBay,
that I have never before seen or heard of. And living in Denmark, the only place
for me to buy MB sets is on eBay, as MB is not marketed here - and there is
unfortunately no such thing as a "MB Direct" (one of many reasons I still have
LEGO as my most preferred brand).

Hello Arne!
It would be great if MegaBloks had some kind of direct online sales, even if
they only offered whole sets rather than parts-packs (though parts-packs would
be fantastic!)

Regarding a MegaBloks database, as far as I know there is nothing anywhere
near as elaborate as LUGNET's LEGO database, and certainly nothing like the
Peeron database of inventories.  However, you might find this link useful for
some basic information:
http://64.233.161.104/search?q=cache:Rbu_i2aR1OMJ:nsx.underbase.org/db/tmp/plastic_bricks.xls++%22repzyllian%22&hl=en

It's a little out of date, but it might help you with some of what you find on
eBay.  That list is also available as an Excel spreadsheet (the link for the
spreadsheet should be at the top of the page.)

Chris Gray has an excellent page of information here:
http://www.graysage.com/cg/Toys/Megabloks/index.html
This page is great because it provides lots of pictures, detailed inventory
information, and commentary on the various sets.  In my view, Chris' site is the
most extensive source of this information currently available online.

For my part, I've been assembling an informal and non-verified inventory of
various clone brands, including MegaBloks, Tyco, and others.  My spreadsheet
doesn't have any inventory detail or pictures, but it might help you with some
of your questions.  I'll try to include it in another post.

On a sidenote, I have now acquired a number of Dragon sets, and my overall
review of these are short:
I really like the baseplates and the building components (the stepped wall
sections and the embossed dragon walls). I buy MB only to get these.
I like the "stone" bricks with rounded corners - but there are much too few in
each set.

I agree!  I would love a whole bucket of those "stone" bricks in various
realistic colors.  At the moment I only have enough of them to build a wall.

Dave!

(...) Hi Dave, Thanks for your quick response. With the info I have so far I have been able to identify 53 different Dragon sets (3 95xx, 6 96xx, 38 98xx, 2 600xx and 4 980xx sets), but some af these are combinations of others, and some seem to be (...)
