So, I'm relatively new in the clone wars, and my excuses if this question has
been answered here before:
Is there a database for MegaBlok sets anywhere (like the LUGNET database)? The
only link stated here is the one to MB's official site, and thats only current
sets.
The reason for me asking is that I time and again see sets for sale at eBay,
that I have never before seen or heard of. And living in Denmark, the only place
for me to buy MB sets is on eBay, as MB is not marketed here - and there is
unfortunately no such thing as a "MB Direct" (one of many reasons I still have
LEGO as my most preferred brand).
On a sidenote, I have now acquired a number of Dragon sets, and my overall
review of these are short:
I really like the baseplates and the building components (the stepped wall
sections and the embossed dragon walls). I buy MB only to get these.
I like the "stone" bricks with rounded corners - but there are much too few in
each set.
I find the minifigs good, but just store them, as I have no real use for them.
I dislike the dragons and war-beasts; if I ever wanted big ugly figs like this,
other companies make better stuff (Schleich comes to mind).
I dislike the big almost-no-building-required components like the catapults; a
non-construction toy like Playmobil makes that kind of things much better.
I really dislike the socalled "highly collectible" crystals - pure trash, in my
mind.

| (...) Hello Arne! It would be great if MegaBloks had some kind of direct online sales, even if they only offered whole sets rather than parts-packs (though parts-packs would be fantastic!) Regarding a MegaBloks database, as far as I know there is (...) (20 years ago, 7-Apr-05, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)
