Re: Lego now making Mega Bloks colors (was Re: Fwd from a builder: Colors don't match...)

(...) Well that was the case 4 or 5 years ago. As of 2 to 3 years ago Mega Bloks is much improved. Only the occasional 1x1 part suffers this problem now but there are usually 10 to 20 extras so you can get one that makes the model work. I am very (...)   Re: PixelBlocks!

(...) These look quite interesting. Their website looks good, its interesting that they have used CAD images so much. They also have their bulk parts down to a T, tho its a bit easier when you only have one element! As long as they don't go changing (...) (21 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  PixelBlocks!

Hi gang! Don't know if this is really considered a "clone" product, though it uses a similar stud and tube style connection, but it does not appear to be Lego compatible. It is a cross between Lite Brite and Lego.... PixelBlocks. (URL) get some (...) (21 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: MB Ford GT

(...) I'd be interested to see the internal structure, but I agree that the contoured panels are not as satisfying for the builder (and their (Good heavens!, I meant *they're*) nigh-impossible for the LDraw writer...)   Re: Element commercial

(...) Saw it, it's pretty cool. Of course, if you don't catch the MEGA BLOK trademark/disclaimer at the beginning, you'd think it was being built out of LEGO building blocks. Anyone know why they chose MEGA BLOK instead of LEGO? (BTW - it's all CGI (...) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-03, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, FTX)

  Re: MB Ford GT

(...) There's so much fairing it's hard to see how it's a brick model at all. I admire builders who do studless stuff, it's an interesting exercise, but this model just doesn't do much for me. What else can you build with the parts? Not too much I (...) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-03, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  MB Ford GT

Anyone bought one yet? (URL) body is moulded a la model kit... looks good though :-) J BTW: can anyone help me get hold of the MB Harleys as they're not available here in the UK? I have the Road King, but I'd like to get the Softail ((URL) and the (...) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-03, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)
