Well I know my personal experience with those plates has been overall great.
I have noticed that here and there a singular stud might not have great
clenching power, but when covering more than one stud they have better
clenching power than LEGO baseplates far more often than not. (That may or
may not be good depending on what you are doing) They are detailed enough
that they are obviously land but generic enough that you can use them
anywhere. In general I think they are great for landscaping.

I absolutely agree! Once Ive got them properly laid out and have them mated to
each other, theyre rather solid -- it seems to be a matter of making sure
enough studs are devoted to the joints, and thats a simple enough adjustment --
well worth the improved look!
