Re: Prices of new Lego have been reveled in £/$

(...) US retail price for the 7190 is $99.99 as once mentioned on LUGNet. The UCS TIE Fighter is also $99.99, and the UCS X-Wing is $149.99. (25 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.technic)

Re: Prices of new Lego have been reveled in £/$

(...) If this is the price TO the retailer, we're looking at 99 USD at a minimum (usually US retailers use "keystone" markup, or 100% but TLC may be requiring less margin on hot items) I would say. Youch indeed. But if it's the MSRP, 80 bucks isn't (...) (25 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.technic)

Prices of new Lego have been reveled in £/$

Hello all I managed to waggle some prices out of Lego UK, these prices are only "cost prices" to Lego so you have to add VAT (UK is 17.5%) and shipping and what ever the shop charges on top All prices are in UK pounds, to convert to USD £1=$1.6 Here (...) (...) I think it helps a lot if you build around the motor instead of trying to squeeze a motor inside an existing body. For my car, I first built the front bumper and lights, and then built the chassis of the car. I built the body on top of the (...) (25 years ago, 5-Mar-00, to lugnet.modelteam)

(...) Originally, I wasn't going to make the car very functional. However, I noticed that I had plenty of room under the front hood to add some steering.
