The car steers by means of a micromotor and also has a
geared motor driving the rear wheels.

How did you find space for that in there? I think I have to
have a look at that DAT file.

Originally, I wasn't going to make the car very functional.  However, I
noticed that I had plenty of room under the front hood to add some
steering.  I also realized that the way the cars in the Ultimate LEGO
Book are built, the wheels probably don't even turn. I guess I took that
as a challenge to make my model as functional as possible.

Please LMKWYT!

Good looking. Impressive number of details. - And I have
never managed to motorise a car of that size. Most
impressive.

Is that a challenge to motorize an even smaller car? :)  It's true that
it would take some effort to cram a battery box in there, but I just hook
up the wires to an RCX and plug the RCX into the wall with an adapter I
found in our house :)  Thanks for the comments,
