LEGO has--at every turn--attempted to stifle competition and prevent fair access to the marketplace. In this particular case, they sought the endorsement of their anti-competitive practices by nothing less than the US Government itself. If that’s not fear of the free market, then it’s certainly not an embrace of it.

   I did not express any opinion on MB products or practices since such are not relevant to the discussion at hand.

Agreed, which is why I stipulated that “you--or others” might have problems with the brand; I wasn’t declaring that you personally harbor such objections or that you find them relevant here. I thought that this was made clear in the post.
