Saw the show last night. Pretty cool stuff. Did the room of a kid who lost his
Mom who was fighting over in Iraq. Did the whole thing in Lego. Lego lamps,
furniture, even Ty's megaphone. At the end of the show you saw a bit of the head
of one of the carpenters on the show (Paul I think) built in brick. Pretty good
likeness!
Great job to the guys in the Enfield Model Shop! Very cool you all were able to
be part of something so cool!
Only thing that sucked was they never said it was LEGO they were doing it with.
All the people on the show kept calling them "little plastic bricks". Seemed
strange to me since they can't mention Sears, Disney, and all the other sponsors
enough on the show. Although at the end the kid did say he liked his "Lego
room". Guess they couldn't make him say "little plastic bricks"...
Wonder if that had anything to do with Mega Bloks producing some Disney sets
currently? After all Disney does own ABC. Just a thought...
