I can see why ebay does not let sellers change the item description after the
first bid. However, the weakness in the system is that any picture can be changed
at any point. I've done in the past when the existing picture was far too big and
was taking forever to load. So I just changed it to a lower colour resolution
However, I could have, if I wanted, submitted a totally different picture.

Just go to the item itself, and just below the price, location and timing information there will be a link to a page that lets you (...) (25 years ago, 17-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.theory)
