(...) Oh, it's not nearly as exciting as you might think it is. It's simply my old digital camera, which, due to an unfortunate interaction with a concrete driveway, no longer functions when the AC power is not plugged in. It is 1 megapixel, with a (...) I have an item (I won't mention what it is until I get confirmation that it's legal to sell on .b-s-t) that isn't Lego, but would be very handy for Lego projects. Would it be okay to post about it on the .b-s-t newsgroup, or is that strictly for (...) (24 years ago, 12-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.theory)

In general I think a set is more valuable as parts. (Like an automobile) The Millenium Falcon might be an exception to that rule though. It's been going for more than 250 dollars recently. Reminds me of the Guarded Inn prices a couple of years ago. (...) (24 years ago, 4-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.theory)

I agree. I have had multiple transactions with this seller myself, all with no problems, so I don't mean to imply that anything underhanded was going on. I was just taken aback by the feeding frenzy surrounding this minifig in recent auctions. I (...) (24 years ago, 4-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.theory)

I think she only has 4 of them left now. The last couple sold for around 32 bucks a couple of months ago. And I know she doesn't have any shill bidding going on. People just get into a feeding frenzy. She sold a bunch of minifigs over the weekend (...) (24 years ago, 4-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.theory)
