  3033--Target.com

Just was doing a little surfing and noticed that Target.com has the 3033 Blue Bulk Tubs on sale for $19.99. Hadn't seen them in a while. Nice to see them back, but who knows how many they have left..... Nate (22 years ago, 12-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: 3033--Target.com

(...) hello I ordered 20 of these about a month ago and instead of the 3033 1200 piece tub they shipped me 20 different blue tubs with only around 500 parts. I cannot remember the number of this tub. It is the one without lid. This was a large pain (...) (22 years ago, 12-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: 3033--Target.com

(...) Dang, I was afraid of that. I know that my local target stores only have the 4120 blue bucket without the lid and only 608 pieces. But I saw the 3033 on the target.com web site a few days ago and took a chance. The picture on the web site (...) (22 years ago, 12-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  3033 IS NOT 3033!!!! (Re: 3033--Target.com)

Folks, I just got off with Cindy from Target.com. The 3033 Bulk Set is NOT, I REPEAT NOT 3033... it is 4120. They are working to correct the picture and description. The 4120 is a Creator Bucket with 608 pieces and no lid. I am posting to make (...) (22 years ago, 12-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: 3033 IS NOT 3033!!!! (Re: 3033--Target.com)

Thanks, Steven. Now I just have to decide if I want to keep the 4120 box that's on its way. I just recently became an AFOL, and I've never even seen a 3033 tub. I bought a box of 4120 a few weeks ago, and it does help bulk up my Mindstorms robots. (...) (22 years ago, 12-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: 3033--Target.com

(...) Yes Benton, they do let you return them to Target stores. If they have already shipped and you do not want them, just refuse delivery. I did that for the last 10 or so that showed up. Eventualy the charges were credited back to my card. Tom (22 years ago, 12-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) Thanks for the info. I just called Target (1-888-304-4000) and canceled my order. Bummer. I REALLY wanted those sets. Steve (22 years ago, 12-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Thanks for the update. Wish they hadn't confused everyone like that... But glitches do happen. Nate (I just got off the phone with them too...bummer) (...) (22 years ago, 13-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: 3033 IS NOT 3033!!!! (Re: 3033--Target.com)

Benton, Just to let you know, the blue tubs DO stack well without the lid. You just have to alternate them, so that the "ribs" on the ends line up right. One way they stack, and one way they sink into each other. Of course, this doesn't work so good (...) (22 years ago, 13-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: 3033 IS NOT 3033!!!! (Re: 3033--Target.com)

Troy, Thanks, that's good to know. It also holds Plano 37xx boxes on end, since I've sorted most of the pieces potentially useful for robotics into Plano boxes. Anyways, my box just came, and I refused delivery on it. It came US Snail, surprisingly. (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: 3033--Target.com

I made the mistake of purschasing what I thought was the 3033 set at the Target near my house only to find out that it was the 4120 set. If these sets came with a LID, I wouldnt care what set it was. It's a real pain not having the lid on those (...) (22 years ago, 16-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)
