maybe this advice would be considered market.theory but I knew a source of
great lego, I probably wouldn't want to broadcast it for all the world to
see...
and the main reason for not doing so, is not for the reason of hoarding it
myself, but for the potential lurkers in my area, that would be more than
happy to pick up the items.
I think in this day and age, competing for those golden retail sales of
ABS, is hard enough, without adding the odd lurking enthusiast into the mix.
I know from other people who have inadvertantly put up their source of sales,
only to find lego "bandits" have come and cleaned out stock.
So with that it mind, I think you can get a picture of what I am saying, and
even though you are trying to gain information on behalf of the good of
the local new york city population, most would not want to share that
information. However, a lego buyer's guide to NYC would be really neat to
have/know, especially if one was going to go on a holiday in the big apple...
