Well, Tuesday Morning appears to be primarily an exercise in the
remarkable discounts that can be acheived when your base prices is half
again as much as MSRP.

Yeah, the selection wasn't very good, but I did pick up a few things:
2751: Duplo Eggs - got one of each color - $1.99 (50% off actual msrp).

2827: The Strawberry Festival - a Duplo set I hadn't seen before. Picked one
up for the butterfly, since I have all the other 'Forest Friends' animals -
$14.99 (actual msrp is $24.99 - TM claiming $29.99 IIRC).

5956: Adventurer's Air Zeppelin - glad to find this as I missed out on the
S@H special several weeks ago - $9.99 (50% off actual msrp).

6575: Polar Base - $29.99 (50% off actual msrp).

So, a few good deals, but not great.

Ken

I found:
Polar Base ($30)
Extreme Creatures ($30)
Backdrop Studio ($40)
lots of small sets---polybags like 5902, the Studios HTO sets, what looked
like Shell sets, 6579, 1354, 1355
Axe Cart ($2)
some Duplo
other even more forgettable sets

No Star Wars, no LOM, and no Castle except the Axe Cart.  The prices were
okay if you really wanted the sets, but were excessive if you were looking
for parts.  I was the first in, and left without getting anything.  There
weren't too many people there this morning, but I wasn't the only person
looking at Lego, and even at those prices they might sell out.

(...) When I stopped by Tuesday evening at our closest TM, the polar bases were sold out, (I wasn't going to buy one this time at $30, although I like the white baseplates), no Air Zeppelins...shucks! only a stock of sets mentioned in previous posts (...)
