Confirming a post earlier, Comp USA (White Plains NY in this case) has RIS
1.5 sets at $139. A bunch in stock. Dark Side Dev. Sets are still
(relatively) overpriced at $75. Only a few around.
The peons on hand were not clear, but this might be available thru phone
sales (I could NOT get a rational answer about acceptance of school district
PO's, but then they changed their whole small business sales approach a
while back, centralizing it in Dallas I think - NOT in a positive way - a
few companies I know stopped dealing with them) - do they have a web site?

| I'll see what I can find out by phone order. $60 off the RIS is just too good to pass up despite being so very far away from an actual store. | Surprisingly, the RCX in the set I just got was marked "2.0" which means that this bunch was a relatively recent restock - I'm guessing June or so, just before the release of the 2.0 sets. (SAH had a stock-out period for a bit before the new 2.0's (...) (23 years ago, 9-Oct-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)
