It may not be that Lego sold any better this year, or that it sold well at
all. Perhaps the buyers at the big retailers just ordered less merchandise
so that htey wouldn't get stuck clearing it out at 75% off.

| Is it the hazy mists of memory, or were the post-Xmas clearances a lot better last year? The only place I've found with decent clearance stuff is Target (so I'm glad they're building them up here now!) Everything else has been sadly lacking. Walmart (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jan-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)
