| I was just looking at the pictures of this... and I was just wondering. What makes it a "Spy Runner" ? Is it some kind of spy plane? Aren't those supposed to be stealthy and/or very fast? What about the "runner" part? The only planes I've ever heard (...) (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general)

| (...) A "-runner" is anybody trying to use speed and/or stealth to circumvent a blockade, border guards, or other force specifically trying to keep his cargo out. Y'see, this isn't the first Spy Runner LEGO has produced; there was a Technic set also called that in '97 or '98 (I bought a mess of 'em in Feb '99 for $1 apiece, they were green, etc etc).
