I went to the mall to get my hair cut, which is about the only time I go to
this particular mall--about every two months--and besides the surprise at
seeing SW1 sets in JCPenney, I also checked the KayBee Toys. It did have the
Mountain Rambler for 40& off (a good deal, but I resisted since I already have
all those parts). I ventured into the LEARNING SMITH (a new store in this
mall, and the first time I ever went into this store--anybody else know of
it?). Anyway, they had a LOT of stuff on sale, but not lEGO. I DID buy a
BUNCH of stuff at 70% OFF (including at least $375 worth of BRIO Trains at 70%
OFF--which is an incredible discount, especially for BRIO! The only LEGO they
had there was the MindStorms kits (all three, at regular retail price), then
they had the Search Sub CD and the new TECHNIC CD kit, both at what must have
been higher than normal.
