    Lego Outlet Stores????? —Michael Brenner
I was reading a bunch of posts and wondering how many Lego outlet stores there are and where are they? I live in Ma. and there doesn't seem to be one close by. (25 years ago, 19-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Lego Outlet Stores????? —Eric Joslin
(...) They are expanding, but the list I saw doesn't include Boston. I'd suggest a trip to The Construction Site in Waltham. It's pretty much the best Lego store I've ever seen. www.constructiontoys.com eric (25 years ago, 19-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Lego Outlet Stores????? —Larry Pieniazek
(...) I gotta second that advice. You need to make a stop. If LEGO were a religion, this store would be one of the "stations of the cross" as it were. (1) You usually pay full retail (although they DO have sales). But I have zero issue with that. (...) (25 years ago, 19-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Lego Outlet Stores????? —Eric Joslin
(...) In fact, I was in there on Friday and Crispin told me that the Gungan Sub and... oh, nuts, another SW set are both $10 off until the end of the month. eric (25 years ago, 19-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Lego Outlet Stores????? —Shiri Dori
(...) Does the SI really have *that* much grey bricks? Is it worth those $30 even if I have close to no interest in the set? (Is it worth $20? :-) maybe I should plan another TCS visit... ;-) -Shiri (25 years ago, 21-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Lego Outlet Stores????? —Larry Pieniazek
(...) Put Maul on eBay for a penny plus shipping, that should get you 2 bucks. that takes you to 28. Is Sith worth 28 for grey and dark grey plates bricks and click hinges? I think so, but you may not. Someone posted an inventory I think. I'll buy (...) (25 years ago, 21-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Lego Outlet Stores????? —Shiri Dori
(...) Good idea... too bad I can't sell/bid/do anything on eBay... Maybe if TCS has 'em for $20, I'll get one. Then again, maybe not. -Shiri (25 years ago, 21-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Lego Outlet Stores????? —Christopher Lindsey
(...) It's at (URL) I'll buy all I can get at 15. In fact I did, back when Target was (...) I bought a few when I restarted my habit this past December, but would've bought a lot more if I'd realized the plate value at the time. I still have one, (...)           Re: Lego Outlet Stores????? —Lindsay Frederick Braun
(...) I jumped on a ton of those just before Hurricane Larry hit in Metro Detroit. It's well worth $15--IMHO, it's worth $20 if you don't have any yet. If you are able to auction the less-useful parts, like the TIE wings, Mauls, Sith Speeder and (...) (25 years ago, 21-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Lego Outlet Stores????? —Jeff Johnston
(...) If it's not on sale at TCS, get it at K-Mart this week with another $30 set (if possible) or wait for another BOGO sale (they seem to happen pretty often...) Anyway, it doesn't have that many grey *bricks*, really. Grey *plates* on the other (...) (25 years ago, 21-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Lego Outlet Stores????? —Lindsay Frederick Braun
(...) I think it has only two 6x6 rectangular plates--but I may be mistaken. I haven't counted any out in months. (...) Don't forget two extreme-low-slopes in grey. Between this and the Gungan Sub, I'm swimming in blue 1x4 tiles and (...) (24 years ago, 22-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Lego Outlet Stores????? —Jeff Johnston
(...) You are right - I just glanced at the cockpit top and thought it was a 6x6, but it's a 4x6 and a 1x6...I thought it looked a little funny... (...) No Longer Non-LEGO Fiancee! 8) (see the "She's Building!" thread in .general) J (24 years ago, 22-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Lego Outlet Stores????? —Shiri Dori
(...) Jippers! I keep mixing their name up... It's just that Hills sounds much nicer than Mills... (unless they're Dave E's mills ;-) -Shiri (25 years ago, 21-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)
