FOTW at TRU and a Free Ticket If You Want It

I hardly go to TRU anymore these days because they have completely forgotten what it means to have a sale. But the clearance sections which seemed to have spouted up at most of the TRU's in the past two months have been very good to me. So if you (...)   Re: K-Mart Closings - Is one in your area?

In lugnet.market.shopping, Ray Sanders writes: <snip> I have a little info to share based on visits to several K-Mart stores last week. o All (or at least most) of the stores being closed will receive some discontinued merchandise from other stores.   Other LEGO buys this week

In addition to the Target Easter basket I also saw LEGO pens on sale this week at Michael's Crafts for $9.99. I hope this means they get more in because their variety has been lacking lately. BTW if you are patient you are better off using their (...) (23 years ago, 17-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Easter baskets at Target

(...) These baskets are on sale this week for $12.74. The one in the Target flyer shows set 1271 Jungle Surprise. BTW instead of baskets everything is packaged in a small lidless replical of a LEGO tub (I've seen it in blue and red). Maggie (23 years ago, 17-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: 3033--Target.com

Good idea Rose but, I will be in CT in May, so I might just have to stop by and talk to them about these lidless tubs. What I wound up doing was going back to Target and purchasing some clear containers that actually have some nice locking handles (...)   Re: Easter baskets at Target

(...) The race car set is 1088 Road Burner. I'm not sure, but I think the space set was 1266 Space Probe (I didn't have a pen either, but I remembered that one set ended in 88 and the other in 66). Oh, and the puzzles are Rose Art 100 piece (...) (23 years ago, 16-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Easter baskets at Target

Target has some easter baskets that contain a Lego puzzle (100 pcs?) a small set and some candy for $14.99. The set was a really small set. I didn't have a pen handy...one basket had a little race car another had a little space craft. If sold (...) (23 years ago, 16-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: 3033--Target.com

I wrote about the lid less sets last year in Dear Lego (URL) don't know if they plan on doing this again, but a letter to dear Lego surely doesn't hurt. Rose P.S. I finally bought one of these on clearance last fall for $10. They also had 3033's on (...) (23 years ago, 16-Mar-02, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.market.shopping)
