Hey All, Checked in with a few in the NW and got the news, it's a clearance, discontinued item. So the stores are trying to get rid of them. I noticed several "Not available in any stores" items at the FAO in Vegas yesterday. And yes, typical +20% markup on the pricing. WOW!!! What a deal! I just got the last three at the Clearwater, FL CompUSA for $4.88 each plus tax... CHECK ALL YOUR LOCAL CompUSA!!! It is nation-wide! They are $4.88, NOT $80 as marked! I read a review of the new downtown NYC TRU opening last weekend, which mentioned that at least the Liberty statue was in-store there as well. The FAO (...) From past experience, it is usually limited to how many you can grab. If you want a lot of these, scout out your Wal-mart the day before (Wed) to find where they have put these. The toy section in the morning is awful and shopping carts are (...) (23 years ago, 20-Nov-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)
