  TRU Star Wars bundle packs

I haven't seen anyone post this, but for at least a few weeks now my TRU has had two Star Wars bundle packs. One has the Gungan Sub with another smaller SW pack for about $30, and the other has I think the Sith Infiltrator with two other smaller SW (...)   Re: SW Value Packs clearanced at Meijer's

(...) Just in case anyone was thinking about going out to get these, don't bother, I cleared them out last night. 22 packs for me. With 20% at Meijers this week it was easily the best deal on Lego I have ever gotten. -Jason (URL) (23 years ago, 31-Oct-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: LEGO sets on sale this week (U.S.)

Hm. My new S@H catalog has this set at 49.99 also, with a "New Lower Price!" label. Once again, TRU underwhelms. I did find the Droid Developer Kit (R2D2) at TRU for $30, although S@H has marked that down to $40. Still, for a set that was originally (...) (23 years ago, 31-Oct-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Decatur GA TRU - whats left

(...) <snip> (...) Anyone in this area going there? I have a standing offer to buy siths.... Please drop me a note if you're interested in selling. I would of course take them all if you were willing (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.loc.us.ga)

  Re: Blue tubs, Toa

Alright, I was jumping to conclusions there about Toa. But blue tubs are still history. Another interesting thing: in just four days, TRU Manhattan sold an entire wall of Creator, and the final 24 blue tubs, and now has no basic bricks at all (...)   Blue tubs, Toa

At Toys R Us today I asked a Lego rep and was told that TRU had received the last to be made blue tubs, and Toa cannisters are all done for 2001 except possibly for some Toa now in transit from Switzerland. I bought the last blue tub and passed up (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Decatur GA TRU - whats left

As has been mentioned before, The Decatur GA TRU has been operating as a clearance outlet for the last month or two. I visited there on Monday, 29 Oct. When I left, Monday afternoon, this is an approx list of what remained in stock, qtys and prices (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.loc.us.ga)

  New "Bulk Bricks" items

On the European side, two new items have appeared in the "Bulk Bricks" section of Shop at Home: 3750 - Life on Mars Accessories (44 pieces) 9269 - Wheels and Axles (288 pieces) Wasn't the last item a former DACTA® set?   Re: Harry Potter Disappeared???

(...) Actually, I would NOT be surprised at all if the HP sets were flying off the shelves. It's Harry Potter, AND it's Lego! What more could you ask for? :) -Bryan (23 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Harry Potter Disappeared???

(...) If Van is like Edmonton, it's not that they've been pulled, it's that they're *flying* off the shelves. I found them at a TRU, full line on the cardboard display. Later that night (accidently got 2 Diagon Alley and no House Gryffindor) the (...) (23 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Harry Potter Disappeared???

The Hogwart's Express doesn't come with proper train wheels and so can't be run on Lego track as built. It can be easily converted over though, using proper wheels and I believe that the instruction show you how to do that (although I don't yet have (...) Snape's head is glow-in-the-dark color. Don't ask me why. Peeve's head (actually, all ghost heads) are grey. I'm thinking the Imperial is dressed in grey. I have been wrong before. Allen D. Carley (...) (23 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Scans posted

Isn't Professor Snape's head (I think it was his) from the Harry Potter LEGO sets an olive green? One of the heads really looked that color on the box, but I couldn't see the pieces themselves. It was definitely not grey in this case. Naji (...) (23 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Harry Potter Disappeared???

We saw the entire line for the first time last night, all available in Wal-Mart (@ 620 & 183 in Austin). They look very nice, and the prices are pretty good as well. I know we'll collect them all ourselves, but I am just wondering if my little (...) (23 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Harry Potter Disappeared???

(...) Yeah I'm not sure what's happening... First I heard that the HP sets were available at a Toys R Us in mall X. Then I saw the HP sets at a Toys R Us in my area, but now they've disappeared, including the display. Yesterday I went to mall X and (...) (23 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Scans posted

(...) I've been looking at it all morning, and I'd have to bet on the color being the standard dark grey. Granted, the leg looks a bit different in color than the dark grey plate that the fig is standing on, but the color difference doesn't seem (...)
