  Re: Train Windows and Doors

(...) Well, it looks like someone is already planning on trying to capitalize on this, or is dumping their grey train windows now before their value plumets. Look for grey train windows on eBay, three auctions of 10 each just showed up today. Frank (24 years ago, 21-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.trains)

  Re: Train Windows and Doors

They aren't available yet, so you might as well wait a bit, or try to backorder them on Monday. SOME people got the catalog much earlier than it was supposed to be out (as usual, those of us in CA will end up getting it much later than everyone (...)   Re: Train Windows and Doors

(...) Ahh, but that's NOT bulk. It's the new breed of Service Packs. Lego has always tossed in extras to keep the price relative. Only now, the relative price is MUCH higher because they know it's the AFOL's buying the stuff. (...) They are a Mega (...) (24 years ago, 21-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.trains)

  Re: Train Windows and Doors

(...) Train doors and windows... yayyyy.... train baseplate in blakc... goood... but hey, now if you want a train baseplate you have to buy all the wheels and couplers with it, and if you don't want bases you have to have them to get the wheels (...)   Re: Train Windows and Doors

This is the best news from LEGO in a while. Sounds like they're listening to what the train community has been asking for. And the prices are reasonable too. And it's nice to see a different color for the base plate beside the red. -- James J. (...) (24 years ago, 21-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.trains)

  Re: Train Windows and Doors

Great news, but it is typical lego to offer the train base in BLACK, but to only offer the doors and windows in BLUE and GRAY. Would be nice to be able to build SOMETHING in all the same color....
