Re: Our Trip to the LEGO Store...

(...) Well, actually Patti was lost, Michael says he wasn't (and he was driving) and Ben was basically sleeping. :) Ben Roller (25 years ago, 7-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: I'm going to throw up...

I get funny looks when I buy 10-30 at a time, but I just say, "NO, they are for ME". You'd think they'd know fanatics by now, after the TeenyBeanies ;-) (...) (25 years ago, 7-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: I'm going to throw up...

(...) OK, I have to ask. Just how many Happy Meals did you eat? And did it set a new record? Did you feel like Paul Newman did in Cool Hand Luke when he ate 50 eggs? --Todd (25 years ago, 7-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: I'm going to throw up...

I've found a McD that will sell these for 99 cents each so I am not eating more McD than normal... but this particular one is not yet beyond 4. I want #5 pretty badly and have arranged to get 30 copies when it appears. (can you say Atlantic Coast (...) (25 years ago, 7-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  I'm going to throw up...

Ok...today my McDonalds had #5 purple slopes and grimace. I ate nothing but happy meals for those silly slopes. At least I won't need as many of the rest of the sets as this one.   Re: Kmart- 20% off Lego & Duplo

Which is probably better than the buy one, get 50% off the second item. Many times I go into a KMart during previous sales and could only find one thing I wanted. I had to find something else (hopefully the same price) to get any markdown. Ray (...) (25 years ago, 6-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Dennett wrote in message ... (...) retail, (...) Prices are pretty much standard retail, maybe a little higher. Selection tends to mirror S@H catalog although they don't have as many parts packs. Sometimes they will have some odd ball stock. One (...) (25 years ago, 6-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Orlando LIC

(...) I seem to remember them being the same as S@H prices, and you get to pay tax on top of that, but I could be wrong. All I bought was a couple bags full of the 1807 Santa sets when they had them on sale for something like $1.25 or $1.49 - forget (...) (25 years ago, 6-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Orlando LIC

I hope this is the right place to ask this. What are the prices like at the LIC in Orlando?? Are they SAH prices, retail, or above retail. Thanks Ryan (25 years ago, 6-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)
