  Sopwith Camel for $20

EToys/KBToys have ONE Lego set on sale, but it's a great deal: 3451 Sopwith Camel [LEGOSet 3451] (URL) If you're getting just 1, it comes out to 25.71 with shipping. John Riley (21 years ago, 26-Jan-04, to lugnet.market.shopping, FTX)

  Re: PayPal security issue?

(...) Last night the home page (via (URL) seemed to have changed slightly - the usual login text boxes were replaced with a single "Login" button that went to another page. That page did appear legit and correctly logged me into my account the first (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jan-04, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: PayPal security issue?

(...) Hey, I again tried the website and it works flawlessly. Perhaps, if you have access to another computer with another internet connection it will work properly.? If you can, give it a try!:> (21 years ago, 22-Jan-04, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: PayPal security issue?

Even https://www.paypal.com results in a page-not-found. Appearantly there's just something wrong at my end of the connection. Hoewever, other sites work flawlessly, and some PayPal pages do appear. (21 years ago, 22-Jan-04, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: PayPal security issue?

(...) Hey, I also went to the site "(URL) and the page loads correctly and I had no problem with the security on the site. Perhaps it WAS a temperary problem, but I didn't have any problem. Try it again and perhaps it will work. Erik Bush (21 years ago, 22-Jan-04, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: PayPal security issue?

(...) Hi eric, Both those URLs (correctly) redirect to their secure site https://www.paypal.com/ Maybe it was a temporary problem. Are you sure you didn't click the link from a fake email? ROSCO (21 years ago, 22-Jan-04, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  PayPal security issue?

I wanted to pay by PayPal, but when I go the PayPal website, it feels like a reroute to a fake site. But I'm not sure, - (URL) is a page-not-found - (URL) does show the homepage but my browser's security alert says the https certificate is meant for (...)   SF Bay Area: All toys (incl. Lego) on sale at Diddams

Diddams (URL) is a party store, which happens to carry a pretty good selection of Lego sets. They are having a 20% sale on all toys, including all Legos. The sale lasts 19-25 Jan.   Buy.com 24 hour sale

Just noticed two Harry Potter sets (4709 & 4730) at ~45% discount at buy.com during their 24-hour sale. 4709 (Hogwarts Castle) even qualifies for free shipping. I'll probably pass, but I thought others might like to know... (URL) -Craig (21 years ago, 20-Jan-04, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.market.shopping)

ebay auction, Classic Space 6971, Inter-Galactic Command Base with Box!

(URL) is just one of the auctions I'm going to end up placing. I have been a Lego collector since before minifigures started popping up in 1978, and have a LOT of auctions to put up. I thought some of you might like to see this set though, as it's (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jan-04, to lugnet.market.shopping)
