Am I the only one that finds it ironic that Cosmic Toys doesn't have any Space sets? :^D ~Mark (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: Cosmic Toys now open on BrickBay

(...) How do ya classify Star Wars and Rock Raiders because those are there... ;-) Disclaimer: no affiliation with Cosmic Toys! Rick (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: Cosmic Toys now open on BrickBay

(...) Rock Raiders = Underground Star Wars is Star Wars, or so I've been told. It doesn't really fall under the heading of Lego System Space, which is what I was referring to. ~M (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: Cosmic Toys now open on BrickBay

(...) No, Rock Raiders != Underground. Rock Raiders is a play theme within the Underground system. (Just like Space Port is a play theme within the Town system, or Insectoids is a play theme within the Space system.) --Todd (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: Cosmic Toys now open on BrickBay

(...) You can use dictionary.com! You get a gold star! I was making kind of a small joke here and, as tends to happen in newsgroups, things are getting a little out of hand. It was a JOKE, people! Hence the " :^D " e·mo·ti·con (-mt-kn) n. A series (...) (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: Cosmic Toys now open on BrickBay

(...) Wow. I won't need anyone to be condescending to me for the rest of the month. My post had 2 smileys, do they cancel eachother out? Just wanted to say that 'cosmic' may not mean 'space'. You've helped me to see that I could have done a better (...) (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: Cosmic Toys now open on BrickBay

(...) Like your post wasn't condescending... (...) Honestly, when was the last time you heard anyone describe something as "Cosmic" when they didn't mean "of/coming from space?" ~Mark (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: Cosmic Toys now open on BrickBay

(...) Geez... I go away for one day to seek and buy up Legos and people get nitpickey about my store name :) For the record... Once upon a time (in a galaxy far far away, yada yada yada), someone I worked for took to calling me 'cosmic ray'. The (...) (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: Cosmic Toys now open on BrickBay

Re: Cosmic Toys now open on BrickBay

(...) The catalog descriptions of sets don't count 'em as such. We could get into a philosophical discussion about counting skeletons and ghosts as minifigs, but not living primates, but we'd lose the tiny shred of relevance this has (it does (...)
