I am sorry if I offended you or anyone in this newsgroup.  I am just getting
a little tired of people going way off subject (like this thread is going)
and asking stupid questions.  If you are looking to get an aprasial or an
offer for something, you need to tell people what it is, not keep it a
secret, right?  I was simply pointing that out. Maybe I was a bit blunt, but
I am sure some people agreed with my comments. I read the messages in this
newsgroup because I am interested in buying, trading and selling Lego,
Nothing else! If you simply want to find out what a set is worth, there is a
group for that also, lugnet.market.appraisal, right? I hope we can move on
now, and continue  buy/sell/trade of Legos, OK?

Actually, I re-read his message, and I believe he was asking about old town
stuff. Now, as a Lego person, I could offer a guess that older town stuff is
more valuable than newer town stuff. Then I could ask that he find out which
sets exactly were involved, and leave it at that. What irked me was "Stop
wasting our time buddy". That was the rude part, and I felt uncalled for.

Does anyone else agree with me on this point of ettiquite? Or should I just
let
sleeping dogs lie and move on?

Tom, I really don't like getting into this, but I thought you were overly harsh as well. I don't think your comments were called for at all...over the years I've seen MANY people handle a disagreement with someone's approach to posting with gentle (...)
