I just got a 6411 via Ebay that was MIB, but unfortunately the 6x12 plate for the top of the Cafe was missing (wasn't polybagged originally, so the seller might have missed it). Absurdly stupid question time: Did you try contacting the seller to find out if they have the plate in question? :o) Second absurdly stupid question: Did you call LEGO Customer Service to order a free replacement piece if the above failed? If you're in the U.S., S@H 5321 Large White Plates has one of those ($3.99).
