    propellors wanted cheap! —Ben Erwin
I'm in search of an economical way to find a decent propellor. here is my story: (please respond to berwin@tufts.edu in a separate email if you respond to this to the list) There is a really nice grey two-wing propellor that takes an axle at the (...)    Ben, I know what kind of propellor you are referring to, but good luck finding one for cheap. I have several, but they are CRUCIAL peices I use on my airships. (25 years ago, 1-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

(...) Hi, Unfortunatly the large three blade props from the Tunnel Transport are like the small three blades in that they dont have the axel center, just the round hole. I had also hoped the nice chrome drill would have an axel drive but it doesn't. (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Don's some of these have the knurled face that mates with a 1/2 technic "nut"/bushing? Using that and some of the olderstyle nuts you can mount them rigidly to an axle although the thickness increases.. (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

(...) You are right Larry. Thanks for pointing that out. You could use a 2X2 round plate with axel hole to secure the prop with maybe a small pulley/spacer on the other side. John (25 years ago, 3-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)
