I think the parts you are talking about come from the boxes in the stores from
the Blokkerconcern, where they dump the leftovers (well it looks like it,
because there are for instance only left or right wing pieces in them). Dutch
stores have them and some German.
I still believe this deal comes from Blokker, though TLC must have someting to
do with that ;-) That's right, those boxes are very interesting. And they
contain some pieces that were very hard to get untill a year ago.
S@H deals for Europe most of the time are still more expensive than on retail...
I've never seen a "quickly, order 20 sets because now it's really cheap"-kind of
deal. Legosets hardly ever go on sale in Europe. And sometimes I, as a European,
am very jealous at Americans who can wait until christmas sale, and know the
sets are still there and are on sale.
Sometimes it just feels USA gets all the good deals, and Europe is always paying
full retail. And that makes Europeans (well, me) want to whine....

| Give it up. Enough of the whining already. These deals literally were "warehouse/storage sales", where they had damaged product they wouldn't sell retail in such shape. I believe Europe S@H does the same from time to time, and certain AFOLs just (...) (20 years ago, 20-Aug-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)
