On ebay there is usually at least one 8880 for auction that is NIB.
I'll probably never want to spend that much money on one, but I would
like to have the model. Does anybody out there ever have any used
ones they've outgrown, don't want anymore, etc, etc. Obviously it
needs to have all that parts (at least all the 8880 specific parts)
and the instruction book would be nice (although the scans are
available on the net).
I just want to build one, see how it works, play with it. I don't
need to have a NIB experience (especially not for $300+).

| Actually, the last time I sold a Supercar (new) on eBay it sold for over $300, but so did a used one ending the same weekend. The set is amazingly popular. I believe you can put it together by incorporating parts from three other Technic sets, but (...) (25 years ago, 21-Apr-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)
