Actually, the last time I sold a Supercar (new) on eBay it sold for over
$300, but so did a used one ending the same weekend. The set is amazingly
popular. I believe you can put it together by incorporating parts from
three other Technic sets, but I forget those numbers - it might be a more
cost-effective way to build it.

| I think some of the transmission parts and the collars that connect to the wheels are unique to this kit. | On ebay there is usually at least one 8880 for auction that is NIB. I'll probably never want to spend that much money on one, but I would like to have the model. Does anybody out there ever have any used ones they've outgrown, don't want anymore, (...) (27 years ago, 21-Apr-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)
