Julie:

I realize that you are not asking for opinions here, but I thought I'd throw
this out there anyway.  My apologies to you if it annoys...

The problem with your approach is that it requires all the work be done by
the other trader -- they have to look up the sets (many of which are not in
the database because of the fact that they are fairly recent sets -- a
problem in itself in terms of trade value), they have to figure out what
bits they want, and then they have to cough up castle bits in trade.  This
is not that likely to happen, it's too much work! [And from my point of
view, I also would not be trading castle stuff for sets I can go out and get
at clearance sales right now.]

I don't claim to be an expert on the subject, but when I want certain
elements I post about those wants a few at a time so as to not overwhelm the
reader, I also have a website set up with viewable elements so that there
can be no confusion (or at least as little as possible) as to what I am
seeking.  If I were trying to part out sets, I'd probably use brickbay or
set up my own site with a similar feel -- it wouldn't have to be a fully
setup e-commerce site with a shopping cart and all that, but it would at
minimum provide viewable images of what was being offered for trade and what
I expected in terms of trade value.

Anyway, there it is.  I am just trying to help.

Since no one is interrested in these sets as whole sets. I have decided to part them out to trade for castle parts, minifigs and assecories for minifigs. Please let me know what parts of what set you want and what parts you have for trade. hopefully (...) (23 years ago, 23-Oct-01, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)
