Markham:

I like the idea, but I'd suggest some polishing to make the site more appealing:

- Check your spelling. Ex: rewuired -> required; soo -> see; unnoficial ->
unofficial, etc.
- Check your grammar. Don't change person in a paragraph. If you use an
action verb to start a bullet, use that form for all bullets. LEGO should
always be capitalized. Use the registered symbol (ALT-0174), not an asterisk
where required. If English isn't your strong suit, find someone willing to
help (and heed their advice).
- Make it easy. The HTML template duplicates information required by the
'Join' form. Why make the potential trader fill out the same information twice?
- Show how it's done. Put some of your own trades as an example.
- Solicit a jumpstart. E-mail individuals who have recently posted to
buy-sell-trade and ask permission to link to their trade pages.
- Add contact information. Put at least an e-mail link to you, the
webmaster, on the home page.

I know it's early days, but do you envision being able to search the
listings? Specify trade values (e.g., I'll trade three blues ones for one
red one)? Reference (with permission) LUGNET parts or sets pictures? Provide
e-mail notification? Move to an ad-free host? If you can voice your ideas
about the future of your site, that will make eBrick more appealing as well.

A FAQ would be a good idea. I went there, got an annoying popup but not a
clear sense of what this site would do or how one goes about using it.

What market is this serving that isn't served by BrickBay, posting to
market.buy-sell-trade or other mechanisms? Explaining that in your intro
would be helpful.

I've added more to the intro, but I haven't gotten to the FAQ part yet. Do
you think that's good enough?
