I'm wondering if anyone has heard anything from Chris Gill (nickname: Invisage)
of the LEGO Antiquities Brickshop recently?  On the basis of nearly unanimous
positive feedback, I placed an order with him at the beginning of the month.
Since then, I received an invoice, and made payment, but have not yet received
anything in return.  Furthermore, I now notice several recent negative comments
surfacing on his feedback, all in this same time frame.  All e-mails and
Bricklink messages (all of which have been very polite) have gone unanswered -
in fact, my last Bricklink messgae, sent about a week-and-a-half ago, has still
not been read.

Granted, my order was not very big, so I can stomach the loss if need be.  I'm
loathe to post negative feedback yet, as I don't want to decrease any last
vestige of hope for a succesful transaction ... but it's getting to be about
time, I guess.

So, is there any other course I can take?  I'd much rather receive my pieces
and be done with it, but if that's not going to happen, then what?

Thanks in advance,
Shaun

I just took a look at his feedback & everything I know how to do to learn
about him (not much).
I would say this:
Why would, all of a sudden, he start taking money with out fulfilling his
obligation?
You said your order wasn't to large, would he risk negative feedback for $20
or $30?

I'd be a little more patient, hopefully he is ok. If he is in the hospital
or sick or something I am sure he will appreciate your patience (I would)&
maybe hook you up in some way for being patient.

I also look at the 2 negative feedbacks, they seem to be relatively new to
BLink (not much feedback) themselves, so maybe they are quick to pull the
negative feedback trigger.

I think the damage to his shop has been done at this point & your leaving
negative feedback would really be of no consequence. You stand to much to
gain now by being patient.

I would hang tough & continue to try to reach him.

Only my opinion though.

Good luck.
Jonathan
Who is very impatient himself but really tries to avoid leaving negative
feedback.

(...) I think you are being very kind, Jonathan. However another course to consider is to file an NSS (non shipping seller) report. If several people file these he will lose his selling privileges at BrickLink which, if he's gone bad, will benefit (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jun-02, to lugnet.market.brickshops)
