OK, I'm gonna go with Tom's offer.

Status:  Closed

Tom -- I have your snail mail address on file and if you can confirm my
accepting of your offer, I'll send your check for US$240.00 as soon as I hear
back.  With it I'll include my shipping address in case you don't still have
it.  No particular rush on sending the pieces.  If you could include a
photocopy of the cash register receipt for my tax records, it would be very
helpful.

Previous update:

Status:

*  Going Twice.  If no offer beats Tom's significantly ($15 or more) by
mid-day Sunday, I'll consider Tom's offer binding and send him the $$
   for the buckets.

Hard offers:

1.  Tom Stangl   (Leading Offer)

20 orange Halloween buckets, including shipping and local sales tax,
    for US$240.00.

2.  Scott Smallbeck  (2nd place offer)

20 orange Halloween buckets, including shipping
and local sales tax, for US$256.00.

Approximately 20 orange Halloween buckets for $200, plus shipping and
sales tax.  (Tom, did you say sales tax was 8.25% where you live?)

Soft offers:

3.  Michael Ulring

n orange Halloween buckets at cost, plus shipping and sales tax.
    (n unknown)

Feel free to post counter-bids right here as follow-ups if you like...that
will shorten the overall turnaround time.

The winning bid will be the one which commits 20 or more buckets at the
lowest per-bucket price, including shipping and local sales tax.  (Again,
you keep the buckets.)
