I have not seen an update to your 'reverse' auction.  Are you still looking
to get the pieces, did you already get them?

I was hoping to see the auction go through a complete transaction just to
see if it might be something that would catch on.  For example, the Zainy
Brainy in my area did not have any of the Explorien sets that were 50% off
and I could have done a reverse auction to get someone to send me one.

Todd,
If you don't need the sets until after October 31 for AucZILLA IX, I am
betting the orange Halloween buckets will be 50% off at 8:00 am November
1st. Living in the Twin Cities (corporate headquarters of Dayton Hudson
Co) I am within realistic driving distance of no less than 29 Target
stores! Let me know and maybe I can do a whirlwind buying spree first
thing Sunday morning. Has anyone done the math on the shipping weight of
the contents only of 20 buckets?

No Target stores anywhere near Boston...  :-(

Looking to buy several copies (20+ if possible) of the special Target • orange
halloween bucket and have them shipped to Boston via UPS Ground.

Just want to buy the pieces, not the buckets (you keep those).

All-righty, I got permission from Scott Smallbeck to use his kind offer • as the
starting point for a quick reverse-auction.  (A reverse auction is one in • which
you want to buy something rather than sell something, and the lowest • bidder
wins.)

Scott Smallbeck's bid:

Sale of 20 orange Halloween buckets, including shipping and local • sales tax,
   for US$256.00.

Feel free to post counter-bids right here as follow-ups if you • like...that will
shorten the overall turnaround time.

The winning bid will be the one which commits 20 or more buckets at the • lowest
per-bucket price, including shipping and local sales tax.  (Again, you • keep the
buckets.)
