This auction caught my eye as a bargain, but I think it will wind up going for more than I want to spend. If too many listings are unuseable, people will be less likely to use eBay, also, if the useablility of the listing eliminates a bidder or two, eBay may realize less (...) That is true, in terms of not bidding if you don't like it, but Ebay is a private firm (AFAIK), and they can impose whatever they want in terms of you using their facility.
