Re: Monitoring auctions for street value?

(...) I'm actually more interested in an electronic form. Having to look up each set every month isn't particularly interesting to me -- I'm thinking of something more real-time, like a stock ticker (albeit a slow-moving stock ticker). :) I also (...)   Monitoring auctions for street value?

I started writing a script this afternoon to pull down recent winning auction prices for various sets and store them in a database. This should help me calculate market value of older sets for insurance purposes, as well as helping to track trends. (...) (24 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

What is a 128 Mobile Crane from Train cars 1971 worth?

Can any one give me an idea of how rare this set is and what it is worth? It is in good condition and has the instructions. Thanks. Alison (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Fair price for sealed 6280?

What's a decent price for a sealed 6280? I have two copies of this set I was thinking of breaking up for parts (I mainly want the green railings but I can do without them) but I figured it might be easier (and nicer for someone who missed out on (...) a Samsonite set 610 Canadian Airlines (...) ??? Air Canada? or Wardair? or CP air (Canadian Pacific). Candian is more recent than Sampsonite's departure from the scene, IIRC. James (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)
