Re: That Wacky Cost of Living

(...) When I started out on my own, I paid about $350 a month to live in relative squalor. However, I understand that I was adversely affected by two factors: 1. I was living in Utah Valley, a cauldron of lots of student-housing with inflated fees; (...) (24 years ago, 27-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ut.slc)

  That Wacky Cost of Living

Well, as some of you may remember from previous and various posts, I'm been considering moving back to Utah. The only problem is, I don't have a particularly realistic idea how much it would cost to live there. I figured the SLC Lugnet subgroup (...) (24 years ago, 27-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ut.slc)

  Re: KMart in WVC

(...) sounds like aquasharks (URL) really like the black/blue colors but can't stand the pre-printed canopies (probably the only thing that has stopped me from buying the larger sets). thanks for the tip on that k-mart, mike!! ..joseph g (24 years ago, 13-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ut, lugnet.loc.us.ut.slc)

  KMart in WVC

Hi all, I just happened to visit the KMart in West Valley City (approx. 5600W 3500S) the other day. They have more Lego sets than any KMart I've seen. A good mix of new and old. They probably have half the worlds supply of 2152s. Also some Technic (...) (24 years ago, 13-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ut, lugnet.loc.us.ut.slc)

  CFD: Subgroups for lugnet.org.us & lugnet.trains.org

Watching the recent discussions in lugnet.org and lugnet.org.us has been a lot of fun. The groups are serving their purpose well as venues for sharing ideas on formation and nurturing of regional user groups/clubs. But I think there is still much (...)   Re: Utah Legomaniacs group name nominations

(...) Ah, well, I'm guessing apartment, but it all depends on if I can even afford it, my dad says it'll cost, what was it, something disgusting like 1300 a month for a 500/mo apartment plus living expenses, I think he's out of his mind, but oh (...)   It's WAFOL! (Was: More Utah Legomaniacs group name voting)

(...) Looks like we have a unanimous vote for WAFOL. (...) I think that'd be cool. I've been doing some research on the woed, but the most I've been able to come up with is that it's the mountain range along the east side of the Great Salt Lake, and (...)   Re: Utah Legomaniacs group name nominations

(...) Heretic! :-, (...) What kind of factors would affect your decision? i.e. Would you rathe rlive in an apartment in the Houston area instead of the SLC area? I've always kinda liked Austin myself, I might eventually retire near there and work (...) (25 years ago, 29-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ut, lugnet.org.us, lugnet.loc.us.ut.slc)
