Hi,

Since this is my first post to a Lugnet group, allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Mike Quesnell.  I live in the Salt Lake valley.  I'm just
rediscovering Legos with my sons, ages 4 and 1.5.  Mostly I build things and
my four year old modifies and deconstructs them.  My sons have about 30
sets, mostly the little $3-$7 sets.  I have several Expert Builder sets from
the late 70's/early 80's...arghh...don't bend that U-joint like that!  I've
also sort of fallen into auctioning pieces and sets on ebay.  I found
several Toolo sets, more than we needed so I tried auctioning them.

Yes, UT has a Zany Brainy.  It's on Winchester (6400 South) across from
Fashion Place Mall in Murray.  I think its in a shopping center called
Fashion Plaza.  Anyway it's right next to the Gateway computer store.  They
seem to have as good a selection as any of the local TRUs.  I think this is
the only ZB in UT.  The easiest way to get there is via I-215 either the 280
East or State Street exits.  I know the way well, it's my son's favorite
store.

Also, the SuperTarget at Fort Union had Scorpion Trackers for $1.84 the
other day.

Hello fellow WAFOL-ITES.  I was at Zany Brainy (Ft. Union area) this • weekend
and noticed they had at least two Technic Space Shuttles for sale.  They • also
mentioned they would be receiving Lego watches and the (Shop at Home)Town • Jr.
cargo center very soon.

ZB also had the Lego Creator board game on sale.  The only other place I • had
seen this game is in the S@H catalog.

In the Duplo section I noticed they had a few new Forest Friends sets, • too.

I am not intending to promote or endorse Zany Brainy in any way.  As a • matter
of fact, I dislike the fact that Zany Brainy (like Toys R Us) will not • match
percent off deals.  The best secret place to buy Lego in Utah in my • opinion is
Media Play.  They will match, meet or beat any percent off item I can • find.
