;), it does!

...I'm guessing you subscribe to that "Once a Texan, always a Texan"
idealology? :) Where a Texan would never willingly leave Texas.
Yes, I'm from Ohio (and have moved back, with a year stint in Atlanta
before moving back). I moved down there for about a year... actually,
many of the people (90% or better) I met, were not originally from Texas.
Many were from the mid-west, like myself. Learned a few Texas A&M jokes
& learned how to make fun of people from Arkansas... which is not too hard,
considering the recent political scandals. :)
...Now that I think about it, I lived in North Dallas; across the street was
Plano, but I was close enough that I just said Plano.
...To this day, I still have my Texas driver's license. Doesn't expire
until 2000, so why turn it in?

The only thing I didn't like about Plano was that there was too much
construction going on & the area was too new... I like trees for some
reason, big trees, not the gangly looking things that they stick out
front of new houses. And the strip malls on every courner -- at the
time it was both convient and annoying -- but now I kinda wished I'd
gotten back into LEGO collecting when I'd lived down there... I just
ponder the possibilities...

Pepsi-Lay... you're not serious are you? I hadn't heard that one.
But I guess it's not surprising. Frito-Lay was Pepsi's cash cow. I'm
actually more surprised Pepsi sold off KFC, Pizza Hut or was it Taco Bell?
...Pepsi-Lay... Mr. Lay doesn't own Pepsi, does he? I still think
Frito-Lay needs to break away from Pepsi; Pepsico keeps sucking them
dry.
At the time I worked there, they were doing a little test marketing with
the chips in the can idea.... The package looked like a Pepsi can, but
you opened it up and it had chips inside. I had Baked Lays before they
hit the market, the Tabascco flavored Fritos, the Nestle chocolate covered
Royal Gold pretzels, etc. -- I really enjoyed working there; hated to
leave, but I wanted to be closer to family (most of vacation time was
spent isiting family) & the consulting firm I was with at the time, I
was barely making ends meet.
